I am putting a metal root over an existing composition shingle roof. Can I put the insulation between roofing felt, and metal roofing with the foil side of the insulation in contact with the metal roofing panels. The panel have 1 1/4" ribs on 12" centers. Will this provide adequate ventilation or am I in danger of creating mold? This article on puting the insulation in the attic does not say which surface is placed towards the rafter.
