Just wanted to let you know that the [whole] house fan is working great! It is so much cooler in the house now.
We’ve been telling our neighbors about how great the whole house fan is so hopefully more people will be getting this installed.

The installation of both the SolarGuard Reflective Insulation and the QC 22 Ducted Area Whole House Fan went so well. The fan cools the rooms so effectively that I don’t have to use the a/c as much.
The hot summer months will arrive soon and it is comforting to know that our home now has sufficient insulation from heat and sufficient ventilation.

The fan has been working great the times I’ve had to use it. Luckily we’ve had some good trade winds and the only times I’ve had to use it is at night occasionally and it’s worked great. Overall the fan has been great and I’m really satisfied with my purchase.
It [the Whole House Fan QC4500] went in relatively easily and is certainly quieter than air conditioning , producing just a low hum. I love it! I turn it on in the early evening and again in the morning. It cools and freshen the house, upstairs and down. I highly recommend Island Cooling and the “quiet house fan” that they sell.
The whole house fan allowed me to cool down my home quickly on those hot summer days when I get home in the afternoon. Also brings in cool air on those dry nights! Highly recommended!
