The fan has been working great the times I’ve had to use it. Luckily we’ve had some good trade winds and the only times I’ve had to use it is at night occasionally and it’s worked great. Overall the fan has been great and I’m really satisfied with my purchase.
It [the Whole House Fan QC4500] went in relatively easily and is certainly quieter than air conditioning , producing just a low hum. I love it! I turn it on in the early evening and again in the morning. It cools and freshen the house, upstairs and down. I highly recommend Island Cooling and the “quiet house fan” that they sell.
The whole house fan allowed me to cool down my home quickly on those hot summer days when I get home in the afternoon. Also brings in cool air on those dry nights! Highly recommended!
